I have shared the early draft posts for this Little Grapefruit story with The Benefaktor and he has asked that the full 23 part series, issued over 23 days, is prepared for a book on the GANTOB Books Little Grapefruit imprint. Copies will be given to people who contribute words or art to the book. Email or direct message GANTOB for more.

If this photo was one of the “outcomes” it would be a fail. Back to the drawing board. Attempts at your own projected story, on objects destined for recycling, will be considered for dissemination.


Today’s green tea envelope mentions mountebanks. This was precipitated by a reference to the word in HG Wells’ All Aboard for Ararat (which I’ve just finished), where God says: “this is mountebank physics”. It made me think of The Benefaktor’s piece of the same name. Two can play at that game.
